Mr. Miller received his B.S. in history and a minor in business from Illinois State University in 1999. After living abroad in Austria, Mr. Miller returned to the United States and earned his M.S. in history, publishing an award winning thesis.

Mr. Miller then went on to work in real estate for a number of years. He was an analyst at Countrywide Financial and then was an escrow officer for Ryland Home Builders. Mr. Miller then took an associate professorship position, teaching history and Intellectual Property Law seminars.

While teaching, Mr. Miller attended the Arizona Summit School of Law in Phoenix and graduated in 2011. While attending Arizona Summit, Mr. Miller was on the board of an Arizona non-profit organization, the Arizona Military Museum. During this time Mr. Miller volunteered to assist the museum with a number of legal issues including contract analysis and compliance issues.

Following Arizona Summit Mr. Miller worked in a number of areas. He volunteered at the Arizona Attorney General’s Office in the Real Estate Division, assisting the Consumer Affairs and Protection Department. Mr. Miller also worked in criminal law in Arizona. Further, he ran the Arizona division of a California based boutique law firm that focused on title and escrow issues. Lastly, Mr. Miller assisted private clients in the tech industry with intellectual property issues.

Mr. Miller then moved to Los Angeles and became licensed to practice law in California. Upon passage of the bar Mr. Miller took a position in a firm focusing on insurance litigation and subrogation. Mr. Miller then joined the Carlson Law Group in 2015.

Mr. Miller is admitted to practice before all Arizona and California state courts and the United States District Court of Central California.
